In my writing for science class I did not faced any issues about writing. Because professor Brain Brennan explains all things so well.The only thing I worried about APA citations but rough draft helps me to correct my mistakes.Also professor comments on draft helped me to do well on next paper.For example in my position paper I faced manyAPA citations problems. I did not know how to use correct citation.Also I went to the writing center for learning APA citations.
All these essays helped to improve my writing skills.Also these essays in this class help me in my future to become a better writer.Also this class teach me how to write science essays.
But most of class activities for example rough draft helped me to connect my ideas with my topic. In the exploratory essay I had problems finding sources . I did a lot of research to find the best source for my literature review. I used CCNY database library to finding articles for my essay. I spend a lot of time to do research for my sources. I find a lot of sources for my essay. But with too many sources I did not know which source is best suitable for my topic then I did two rough drafts and after two rough drafts I found best sources for my essay.
As a writer I feel myself I need to focus on my writing skills. I have a lot of issue to structure my paper for this issue I also went to writing center.In this class I learned a lot of vocabulary new things that helped me to learn new words and write my paper with new vocabulary words.Also most important thing I learned a new citation format APA which is new for me.But class assignments rough draft and professor helped me a lot to learn this citation format.My portfolio is easy and simple to navigate.In my self assessment I edited it and fix my grammar errors.I used pictures for all of my all assignments.
